Javier Mendoza and his band bring it back to NKY! The Cincinnati area is quickly becoming Javier's second "home" and we're excited that he's coming to the Leapin Lizard in Historic MainStrasse Village, Covington, KY. Voted 2009's Best Male Vocalist in St. Louis, listed as one of "2009's Hottest Acts" by Campus Events Magazine and Billboard Magazine simply said "Tremendous!". Javier is celebrating the release of his two newest CDs..."You" in English and "Tu" in Spanish.

Joining Javier on this tour is guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Jason Wilber. "Jason has traveled the world as lead guitar player for Grammy Award winning country/folk singer/songwriter John Prine. He has also toured extensively with Greg Brown, Iris DeMent, Todd Snider, and Hal Ketchum. In the insightful and sometimes humorous songs featured on his seven solo CDs he manages to meld his rock, folk, jazz, and country influences into a unique sound that’s been described as “Van Morrison meets Wilco”. From Carnegie Hall to Red Rocks to Massey Hall and the London Palladium, Jason’s performed in all 50 States, and all over Canada, Europe, and the UK. In the recording studio Jason’s backed a diverse roster of artists including Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Over the Rhine, Patty Loveless, Trisha Yearwood, Carrie Newcomer, and others.
